Day Time Shifts (7a-5p, 8a-6p) 3 days on, 2 days off on a rotating schedule 3-day weekends, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND OFF! Company Vehicle to use during working hours. Paid Uniforms, paid training, all activity expenses paid during working hours. Night Shifts, with (6-8) hours of PAID SLEEP TIME (5p-7a, 6p-8a) No overnight "awake" - private or semi-private sleep areas are provided. 3 Shifts per week = Full time benefits & insurance EVERY OTHER WEEKEND OFF! Paid Uniforms, paid training, all activity expenses paid during working hours. PAID TIME OFF: Full-time employees start accruing time off after 90 days. Employees with excellent attendance can use paid time off after only 6 months. Employees can utilize "shift swaps" with other staff to get even more days off between shifts or to work out a more flexible work schedule / job share. LOTS OF EXTRAS: Paid training and/or continuing education credits each year Outing and activity expenses included. Employee referral / new hire bonuses. Career planning and advancement. Clinical supervision and internships for graduate degree credits are available.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or GED, no experience needed!
  • Must have a valid Drivers' License
  • Health screen, TB Test
  • Must pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal assistance, support, direction, care, and supervision to up to (4) clients in a smaller home-like environment.
  • Perform household tasks; cleaning, basic home related chores and assigned client care tasks throughout each shift.
  • Perform charting and documentation, medication assistance and monitoring for symptoms.
  • Prepare and serve (3) meals daily according to company menu.
  • Prepare and submit food and supply order lists weekly.
  • Assist and supervise clients in learning Independent Living Skills.
  • Assist and direct clients in Activities of Daily Living.
  • Plan and participate in activities, plan weekly outings and crafts with clients in the home.
  • Work with the supervisory team to ensure compliance, safety and cleanliness in the home.
  • Work as a team with other direct care staff and supervisors.
  • Ensure facility operations, quality care and services, compliance and documentation
  • Responsible for ordering supplies, food, etc.
  • Assist clients in managing personal funds, manage household petty cash
  • Medication audits and medication oversight
  • Team leadership role
  • Mentor and train new staff
