About The Position

Direct Care Professionals provide assistance to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. This role involves supporting individuals with daily activities, ensuring a structured routine, and facilitating community integration through various outings. The position is part-time, with shifts available from Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am, and additional shifts available for 2nd and 3rd shifts. No prior experience is needed as ongoing free on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Compassionate and enjoy making a difference in someone's life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle.
• TB screening and physical required upon hire, with updates every two years.

• Interest in CNA, PCA, and HHA type work.
• Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily activities.
• Ensure a structured routine that includes individual community outings.
• Prepare meals and assist with personal care.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments.
• Distribute medication as required.
