The Brook – KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Job Duties/Responsibilities: The Director of Utilization Review/Management is responsible for directing and overseeing the Utilization Management Department which includes the implementation of case management scenarios, consulting with all services to ensure the provision of an effective treatment plan for all patients, oversees the response to requests for services and interfaces with managed care organization, external reviewers, responsible for denial and appeals process and other payers. Directly supervises less than 10 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Social Services or Psychiatric.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree from an accredited school in Social Services or Psychiatric.
  • Licensed RN to practice in the state of Kentucky.
  • LMHC, LCSW
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience.
