The Director of Storage & Compression Engineering will lead engineering and technical support teams, focusing on gas storage, dehydration, and compression operations within energy infrastructure. This role involves managing capital projects and cross-functional initiatives, requiring deep technical knowledge of natural gas compression systems, dehydration processes, and surface facilities. Key responsibilities include directing technical training, consultation, and diagnostic services, rationalizing capital expenditures for safety and reliability, and overseeing major capital and O&M projects. The Director will also provide troubleshooting support for operational issues, develop and maintain O&M standards, and offer technical support for major incident investigations. Additionally, the position entails overseeing technical training and qualification assessments for field personnel, developing records management systems, establishing plant equipment performance standards, and managing functional area budgets. The Director will provide technical support for plant and storage facility design, construction, operations, and modifications across various engineering disciplines, and will be responsible for staffing, developing, training, motivating, and evaluating assigned employees.
