About The Position

Join Intelas, a Compass One Healthcare company, as the Director of Regional Imaging. We support nearly 4,500 healthcare sites nationwide, from large, campus-based acute care hospitals to system-integrated outpatient clinics. With more than 1.15 million medical devices managed, we provide the clarity and consistency needed in today's rapidly evolving healthcare environment. The Regional Imaging Director (RDI) reports to the Regional Vice President and assures leadership, support, and development of the Atlanta region DI service team. The RDI also ensures expert service of diagnostic imaging equipment and client satisfaction, including training, mentoring, technical support, monitoring/leading escalations, cost productivity, and building self-service capability to minimize outsourced third-party or OEM solutions. This role is Atlanta based, with limited national travel when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in biomedical engineering or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of DI equipment service.
  • Minimum of ten years DI service experience.
  • Experience leading an effective team.
  • Competent in three or more imaging modalities, expert in at least one.

Nice To Haves

  • Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and technical support capability for multi-modality, multi-OEMs.
  • Engage in service events to optimize uptime, service cost and delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication with leadership for service escalations.
  • Monitor service region for service delivery, profitability, and implement improvements.
  • Participate in customer rounding/developing relationships.
  • Respond expeditiously to service calls to evaluate and rectify valid equipment complaints and concerns.
  • Display effective customer service, maintain good personal relationships with fellow workers, clinical staff, vendors, manufacturers, and the public.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends when needed.
  • Participate in huddles, meetings, training, and conferences as assigned.
  • Mentor ISE's to provide accurate and timely recordkeeping.
  • Learn, understand, and comply with all government, regulatory, industry, company, and client Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist with research and orders for repair parts.
