As a Starbucks director of Human (Partner) Resources you will lead our Partner Resources Organization in developing and driving talent priorities that fuel business growth, unleash leader capability and elevate the experience of our partners (employees). This specific director role leads a highly talented and geographically distributed team of four HR business partners, who are accountable to supporting a strategic and creative business organization with nearly 900 partners - our Coffeehouse Design & Development organization.

  • Partner with leadership to develop a comprehensive approach to Talent aligned to business strategy and future workforce needs.
  • Lead organizational effectiveness strategies and talent and performance management.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder as a business partner and thought leader, seizing opportunities and driving priorities.
  • Leverage data and insights to assess and drive action to elevate customer and partner experience.
  • Inspire partners to emotionally connect to and embody our Mission & Values.
  • Ensure inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility are integrated into talent practices at all levels.
  • Serve as a balanced advocate for all partners.
  • Lead with a growth mindset and act as a catalyst for change.
  • Coach partners at all levels to deliver their very best and create meaningful careers.
  • Lead and develop a team of generalists and cross-functional partners.
  • Elevate regional team performance leveraging team development strategies.
  • Role model personal growth through self-awareness and reflection.
  • Advanced experience in consulting and working with senior leaders in the design, development, and execution of human resources strategies and initiatives, including org design change management, training and development, staffing, succession planning, and performance management (8 years).
  • Leadership and management skills managing a human resources team with multi-functional generalist accountabilities in the areas of staffing, partner relations, learning and organizational development (8 years).
  • Human resource specialist in staffing, compensation, benefits, and employee relations preferred.
  • Progressive experience providing human resources management services in a high-growth environment.
