About The Position

Reporting to the SVP, Finance, The Director, Inventory, Pricing and Analytics, will partner with Sales, Finance, Category Management and Allocations to improve demand accuracy and evaluate corrective action to optimize inventory observing the trends. This position is hybrid-remote and is based at our West Chester, PA office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or Accounting.
  • 8+ years' experience with monthly or quarterly review actual to budget and re-forecast for future periods.
  • Experience with analysis tools including Excel (can write advanced macros), VBA or SAS.
  • 8+ years' experience leading financial analysis and partnering with senior commerce leadership.
  • Experience leading multifunctional, cross organization projects, change management.
  • 5+ years of Finance leadership experience and executive partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing and inventory strategy, analytics, modeling and advisory services for QVC Group US Finance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost and increase efficiency on expense side, as well as ways to maximize return on investment related to business initiatives.
  • Identify and quantify new business unit initiatives for fiscal integrity.
  • Validate the financial assumptions and information which form the basis for strategic business decisions, i.e. 'business cases' - this includes the Revenue, Expense, and Capital cycles.
  • Ensure accurate information necessary to make strategic operating decisions.
  • Partner with QVC leadership team and Finance leadership on transformations and special projects.
  • Ensure variance analysis reports and reviews are made available to finance leadership.
  • Lead Finance Business Analysts to develop inventory business narratives for the period and forecasts/budget.
  • Assign ad hoc department performance reports and analytics that provide cogent and applicable information for assigned executives and Finance management.
  • Work with leadership to improve financial reporting and performance measurement.
  • Steward of the monthly forecast and annual budget process, including the development of supporting models and documentation for input into a US/Global Market model.
  • Implement and evolve a more automated budgeting and planning application.
  • Guide Finance Business Analysts to consolidate risk and opportunities in the forecast.
  • Implement process improvement opportunities on business planning by applying analytics and market insights.
