Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchool's human-resources function, equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization's global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent.

  • Lead the strategy and execution of all employee communications and engagement programs.
  • Drive culture and employee engagement through global communications and events.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on communication strategies.
  • Partner with CEO and Senior Executives to develop strategic communication strategies.
  • Ensure consistency with internal and external communication strategy and messaging.
  • Drive messaging through various channels including intranet, videos, town hall meetings, newsletters, and social channels.
  • Develop a holistic employee engagement strategy to enhance workplace culture.
  • Own the development and execution of the employee listening strategy.
  • Collaborate with PX and other departments to design and execute initiatives promoting culture and employee recognition.
  • Provide guidance to managers on best practices for employee engagement and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to measure effectiveness of programs.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Employee Engagement and Communications team.
  • Establish best practices and conduct gap analysis of existing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, or communications, or related years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing, internal communications, public relations, or organizational development.
  • Extensive experience partnering and advising with C-Suite level.
  • Proven track record developing and executing comprehensive employee communications and engagement strategies.
  • Creative writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with a range of communications channels (e.g., intranet, email, video/webinar, in-office events).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience managing teams.
