About The Position

McDowell Center for Children is seeking a dynamic and talented HR DIRECTOR. The HR DIRECTOR has the primary responsibility for administering all the professional and administrative functions of Human Resources. This individual will be responsible for providing a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative and HR services which include but not limited to recruiting, position descriptions, benefits administration, leave management, new employee orientation, record-keeping, performance evaluation program, exit interviews, HR metrics, employee activities, training, licensing and compliance reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting; or any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office.
Experience with full-cycle recruiting and the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) highly preferred.
Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested.

Nice To Haves

Professional certification PHR/SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities
