About The Position

McDowell Center for Children is seeking a dynamic and talented HR DIRECTOR. The HR DIRECTOR has the primary responsibility for administering all the professional and administrative functions of Human Resources. This individual will be responsible for providing a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative and HR services which include but not limited to recruiting, position descriptions, benefits administration, leave management, new employee orientation, record-keeping, performance evaluation program, exit interviews, HR metrics, employee activities, training, licensing and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting.
• Professional certification PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) highly preferred.
• Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested.

Responsibilities

• Administer all professional and administrative functions of Human Resources.
• Provide complex and routine administrative and HR services.
• Manage recruiting processes and position descriptions.
• Oversee benefits administration and leave management.
• Conduct new employee orientation and maintain record-keeping.
• Implement performance evaluation programs and conduct exit interviews.
• Analyze HR metrics and organize employee activities.
• Facilitate training, licensing, and compliance reporting.
