About The Position

The Director of Food & Beverage Operations at Amtrak is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services within the region. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Food Services, or equivalent experience.
• Eleven years of direct work experience in procurement, contract management, customer service, food & beverage, hospitality, or warehousing operations.
• Minimum seven years of managerial experience in planning, budgeting, employee supervision, and program implementation.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Transportation.
• Thirteen years of direct work experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of Amtrak's food and beverage operations within the region.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual terms with Managed Service Providers.
• Act as the principal liaison between various departments and external vendors.
• Oversee operational and capital projects supporting Amtrak's strategic initiatives.
• Implement food & beverage programs and performance standards for all classes of service on-board Amtrak trains.
• Conduct periodic inspections and audits of warehouse equipment and operations.
• Provide oversight on inventory control and food & beverage expenditures.
