All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all financial documents and supporting records processed for billing. Assists with hiring and oversight of the Lead financial record specialists and financial integrity specialist staff. Tracks trends related to areas of opportunity related to efficiencies and timely billing document processing. Partners with clinical operations and Sr. Director Medical Claims Review to report trends and areas of opportunity related to timely billing document processing. Manages productivity of direct reports. Spearheads interdepartmental partnerships to create further initiatives encouraging automation, efficiencies, and process improvements.
