About The Position
The Director of Business Operations is responsible for operational, financial and clinical outcomes of areas of responsibility. This director oversees surgical and procedural scheduling and billing, staff scheduling teams for clinical services areas such as perioperative services and medical imaging, and pre-surgical operations. This director works collaboratively with other directors and managers of clinical services to support vendor contracts and relationships, equipment/capital purchases, capital budget planning and execution, shared service agreements, data analysis and reporting, and strategic planning. Overall responsibility for creating an environment that supports the mission of Children's Minnesota through improvement initiatives, optimization of resources and revenue enhancement. Responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise and functional direction to others to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree required.
- 10 years of experience required with a minimum of five years leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in surgical services and/or medical imaging.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs.
