About The Position

The Dining Supervisor II provides support to the restaurant management team through the supervi sion of front of house restaurant staff and a variety of administrative and operational tasks . Manage all guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership . Will have the ability and knowledge to work in more than one outlet and to fill in as Dining Floor Manager , as needed .

Requirements

  • Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • 5 + years' experience in restaurant .
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years' Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing .
  • Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner .
  • Reconcile all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices .
  • Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels .
  • Greet guests and present them with the menu , informing them about the special items for the d ay and menu changes if any.
  • Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell .
  • Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.
  • Process payment transactions.
  • Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.
  • Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions .
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.
  • Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
  • Promptly respond to guest with any additional request .
  • Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed) .
  • Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
  • Help other areas of the restaurant .
  • Training restaurant front of house staff.
  • Assist with supervising the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns.
  • Create and execute special projects and assignment s.
  • Assist in answering telephone calls from guests .
  • Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed.
  • Cross-trained to work in more than one outlet.
