A Day in the Life: Oversee daily meal service to residents, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with dietary needs Provide training and coaching to uphold service standards Communicate food and supply needs to the Executive Chef and assist with inventory verification Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety practices throughout the kitchen and dining areas Support documentation processes including temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and compliance charts Collaborate with nursing staff to meet individualized resident dietary needs and preferences Assist with meal plating and delivery during busy service periods Ensure nourishment rooms are fully stocked and ready for resident access Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of food service experience (healthcare or senior living preferred) Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred Familiarity with dietary guidelines and sanitation regulations Ability to read diet cards and follow specific meal service instructions Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills At Larksfield Place, every role plays a part in delivering premier service and building a strong community.
