About The Position

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Worker II to join our team! Full-time position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with company match, and more. Hours are 11AM to 7:30PM. Performs food service tasks to prepare hot and cold food and beverage items for service during meals. Cross-trained in all front of the house areas including cash register, salad station, deli and grill stations. Stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments Prepare the dining room with all appropriate tableware and decoration for meal service. Assists with special functions/catering throughout the community as needed. Assist customers while in all dining/service areas. Requirements

Good working knowledge of food preparation
Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
Experience with cash handling operations and procedures

Nice To Haves

Previous cooking experience preferred 1-2 years
