About The Position

Dining Services Warehouse Coordinator The Dining Services Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for transporting and receiving food and supplies from the food warehouse to the dining facilities on the campus of PCC and its affiliates. The Coordinator ensures that FIFO procedures are followed and ensures clerical accuracy in all paperwork. Assists with specific projects as directed. Oversee Fulfillment and Logistics Work with student employees to accurately pick daily requisition orders. Coordinate deliveries according to requisitions and provide professionalism while transporting food products to and from facilities. Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and that loads are accurately delivered to their proper storage area within the facility. Ensure that all proper protocols and procedures are being followed during deliveries. Ensure FIFO Procedures / Ensure Clerical Accuracy Properly drop and pull inventory according to FIFO procedures. Maintain organization and cleanliness in all storage areas of the Food Center. As assigned, review inventory sheets, service reports, invoices, and purchase orders for accuracy. Notify the Supervisor of any discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, and daily check sheets with warehouse equipment. Assist with Receiving Adequately inspect and receive all food and supplies from vendor trucks and parcel deliveries (FedEx, UPS...), ensuring the highest standard of quality and food safety possible. Properly store all products in the appropriate warehouse areas, maintaining temperature controls and food safety standards. Communicate any problems or shortages of products with the Warehouse Supervisor and kitchens. Procure Food Center Inventory Procure the items that are routinely stocked at the food center. Maintaining inventory accuracy and build level accuracy. Maintain the EP (Emergency Preparedness) menu and its related inventory. Assist with Dining Services purchasing projects and duties as assigned. FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt)

Requirements

  • Education: HS
  • Experience: 1+ years driving commercial vehicles
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds
  • Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Forklift Operations
  • Mathematical Computation
