Performs functions in warehouse involving receiving, picking, pulling and loading of materials in a safe manner. Drives company vehicles to transport products and supplies from specified destinations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Withdraws merchandise and supplies from the kitchen warehouse. Fill requisitions and distributes items Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Loads products and supplies onto delivery van and distributes items as instructed Label, tag, and store items in designated areas Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts Ensures proper handling of perishable products; maintains refrigeration of food and beverages. Perform the job safely while adhering to company safety standards. Maintaining detailed records, such as inventory logs, consumption data, and tracking shipments. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit Keep stockroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Follow company safety policies and procedures Qualifications: Valid driver's license is required based on vehicle to be used according to state or federal requirements. Serve Safe food handlers certification required Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems to include a working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Word and Excel) Ability to lift and move heavy objects (often up to 50 lbs) Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)
