Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality food service operations (required)
  • Working knowledge of catering and special event execution, FOH/BOH (required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related systems (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Nice To Haves

  • BASSET certification (preferred)
  • Associate’s degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily dining operations, including resident meals, guest service, and special events
  • Ensure full compliance with food service regulations and maintain survey readiness
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop dining team members in partnership with HR
  • Manage schedules, labor costs, payroll coordination, and departmental budgets
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, forecasting, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain POS systems, scheduling platforms, and required reports
  • Plan and execute special events, menus, and in-unit functions
  • Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian on nutrition and dietary programs
  • Conduct daily team huddles to review menus, service standards, and safety
  • Drive dining initiatives that elevate resident satisfaction and the Peterson Meadows brand
  • Foster strong communication and teamwork between front- and back-of-house teams
