About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead the food service operations at our substance use disorder treatment program serving the Springfield/Agawam, Massachusetts area. This role is integral in creating a supportive, healing environment for individuals on the path to recovery by managing high-quality dining services that align with our client-centered approach to behavioral healthcare.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher in food service management, culinary arts, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in healthcare, education, or hospitality settings.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a food service environment.
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

Oversee all food service operations in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Plan, coordinate, and manage food preparation and meal service based on standardized menus and dietary requirements.
Supervise and support dining services staff while promoting Pyramid Healthcare’s mission and values.
Ensure the kitchen and dining areas meet all safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the facility dietitian to meet client dietary needs, including modified diets.
Monitor departmental budgets, purchasing, inventory, and labor costs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational efficiencies.
Complete monthly departmental reports and attend required meetings and trainings.
Conduct regular employee check-ins, training, and performance evaluations.
Participate in hiring and onboarding new dining services staff.
