About The Position

Green Lake Conference Center (GLCC) is offering a paid summer internship for college students pursuing degrees in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Dietary Management, Food Production, or related fields. This immersive opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience in a high-volume kitchen environment while contributing to the mission and hospitality of GLCC. Interns will work alongside professional food service leaders in meal preparation, kitchen operations, food safety, and team supervision. They will gain experience in both day-to-day kitchen tasks and leadership development, including scheduling, menu planning, inventory, and service coordination. This internship can be structured to meet college credit requirements, with faculty approval and documented learning outcomes. At GLCC, you’re not on the sidelines—you’re a vital part of the team. Whether you’re exploring culinary arts, hospitality, guest services, or ministry leadership, you’ll gain hands-on experience that matters. The work you do here will not only build your resume—it will shape your story. And it’s not just the work that sets GLCC apart—it’s the community and the setting.
