About The Position

The Dining Services Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations within a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality service and resident satisfaction while meeting financial goals. This role involves developing and implementing operational strategies, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment for the culinary team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or skilled nursing facility with 100+ residents/patients.
• B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality control, and sanitation.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and various computer programs.
• ServSafe® Certified.

Nice To Haves

• A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall operating strategy aligned with Compass Community Living's business strategy.
• Oversee the food and beverage operation to ensure resident and client satisfaction.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with health regulations and company standards.
• Direct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs within the dining services.
• Lead team meetings and establish performance goals for staff.
• Review resident satisfaction results and implement improvements as needed.
• Manage budgets and analyze financial reports to ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents and staff to enhance service delivery.
