Requirements

• A passion for helping seniors
• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to be present for department opening and closing as needed
• High school diploma or GED
• Requires a minimum of two years' experience in the food service field, with a minimum of two years in a management capacity
• Certificates/ Licenses: Current certificates and/or licenses as required by Federal/State/Local agencies.
• Serve Safe Certificate

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and directing the Food Service Department in accordance with current State and local regulations
• Develop and maintain a menu of high standards with a variety of meals prepared with top quality, nutrition and served attractively as well as cater to special dietary requirements while staying within budgetary guidelines
• Schedule, train and supervise all kitchen personnel
