Dining Server - Part Time - Bay Vista Commons
About The Position
At Bay Vista Commons, the part-time Dining Server will have the pleasure of interacting with our population through serving and assisting in the dining areas. This position offers opportunity for career growth and advancement as you will also train as a cook to support various diets and nutritional needs for those in our care and for those we intend to serve. This position will assist with kitchen care, meal planning and execution of service as directed. About our organization Bay Vista Commons is a Bremerton Housing authority Community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care to seniors in Bremerton and the greater West Sound Region. This campus model is observed nationally for its unparalleled commitment to access, financial security, and quality of life for seniors from multiple resource backgrounds. Requirements
- People who enjoy working with seniors
- People with exceptional customer service skills
- Minimum 18 Years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Desire to learn and train for a cook’s position; training will be provided.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees and outside contacts
- Ability to multi-task in a team environment
- Ability to understand, implement and follow policies and procedures
- Reliable attendance for scheduled hours; willingness to be flexible in covering additional hours

Benefits
- Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek. These accruals include the required sick leave per Washington State’s Paid Sick Leave Law
