About The Position

Blackberry Mountain is looking to add a Supervisor to our growing team! The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality with great attention to detail and an appreciation for excellent service. The Supervisor is responsible for leading the dining team in their knowledge of Blackberry Mountain service while ensuring the success of dinner service and special events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position, Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests. Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ operational, supervisory experience in upscale dining room
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Computer experience: word processing, spreadsheets, and property management systems
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and high interpretive skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of property management cashiering procedures
  • Strong perceptive skills
  • Knowledge and ability to read personalities
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely

Responsibilities

  • Training and knowledge of the team
  • Communicate all internal information
  • Daily operation of the dining room: openings, line-up, service, closing
  • Coordinate the daily needs of both shifts to ensure proper coverage and care of guests
  • Coordinate room set-ups/floor charts
  • Development and support of the team
  • Sustain the positive morale of the team
  • Special cleaning projects
  • Monitor service standards
  • Monitor dinner times
  • Collect information and remarks from guests
  • Guest communication
  • Oversee daily menu production
  • Ownership of corporate meeting functions
  • The Look, Maintenance, and Cleanliness of their restaurant
