A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DINING ROOM SHIFT LEAD The One Lincoln Park Culinary department strives to provide superior service to our residents and guests. We do this by: Operating a full service restaurant and bistro 7 days a week. Private dining for special meals and events. Offering delivery and carryout options for all meal periods.

Requirements

  • Restaurant and/ or leadership experience preferred.
  • Have a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
  • Twisting and bending.
  • Ability to lift at least up to 30lbs.
  • Speak with all customers and employees.
  • Ability to climb stares and walk for long periods at a time.
  • Attention to accuracy, order management and customer service.
  • Multitasking skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality and safety
  • Professional, friendly, and courteous
  • Work well with other team members

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager on duty in leading the serving staff.
  • Follow policies and procedures set by culinary management.
  • Train and develop employees.
  • Assist in ideas for the growth of the department.
  • Oversee shifts and problem solve.
  • Work in tandem with all staff.
  • Other tasks as requested or assigned
