Dining Room Server
About The Position
Country Club of Landfall is a premier private club dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our Members and guests. We pride ourselves on top-tier service, upscale dining, and a relaxing atmosphere. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent food and beverage service to Members and guests at our main dining facility, Jack’s/Bistro. The Dining Room Server is responsible for delivering a high standard of food and beverage service to Members and guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures an exceptional dining experience in a refined country club setting, upholding the club’s values of hospitality, attention to detail, and Member satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3-4 years prior serving or hospitality experience required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18+ (or meet local age requirements for serving alcohol).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Member Service Greet Members and guests in a friendly, respectful, and timely manner. Ensure each guest feels welcome and valued.
- Take and Serve Orders Accurately Present menus, describe specials, and answer questions about menu items. Record food and beverage orders correctly and input them into the POS system. Serve food and drinks efficiently, following proper service sequences and club standards.
- Maintain Clean and Organized Work Areas Prepare dining room before and after service (set tables, polish silverware, refill condiments). Keep service stations stocked and clean throughout the shift. Clear and reset tables promptly.
- Communicate Effectively with Team Members Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Notify management of any member concerns, special requests, or service issues.
- Uphold Club Etiquette and Standards Follow dress code and grooming policies. Practice proper table etiquette and service techniques expected in a fine dining environment.
- Ensure Compliance with Health & Safety Standards Follow sanitation guidelines and food handling procedures. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management.
- Support Club Events and Banquets as Needed Assist with setup, service, and cleanup for private events, tournaments, and holiday functions.
