Dining Room Server - Preston Pointe
About The Position
Preston Pointe Retirement Community is a premier senior living community located in Morrisville, NC. We offer a luxurious and caring environment for independent living retirees, ensuring personalized service and a variety of upscale amenities and activities. We are looking for professional and courteous Dining Room Servers to join our friendly team! Currently, we desire full-time and part-time candidates. Full Time Hours Needed: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Part Time Hours Needed: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 3:30 PM-7:30 PM and Sundays 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM. Waitress experience is greatly preferred! Starting rate is $14-15 an hour, depending on skills set and experience.
Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Eligibility as determined by background screening, drug screening, physician physical and TB testing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
- Must have a friendly demeanor with a passion for working with seniors.
- Ability to listen and speak clearly with patience and compassion.
- Ability to learn safe food practices and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Waitress experience is greatly preferred!
Responsibilities
- Waits on resident tables to take and deliver orders, bus and resets tables.
- Maintains excellent customer service skills by offering the finest service possible.
- Deliver meals to resident apartments as directed.
- Vacuum the Dining Room daily and as needed, when there are no residents dining.
- Knowledge of daily menu items to answer ingredients and preparation questions.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining areas around residents and completing opening, running and closing side work related job-duties.
- Works with a good attitude, with respect towards others and creates professional working relationships with co-workers.
- Assists with other Dining Department needs as requested or assigned.
