About The Position

Maumee Bay Lodge is seeking energetic, friendly and customer centric candidates for our Dining Room Server position! We offer you Server pay starting at $5.50 per hour plus tips. With your tips received you'll average anywhere from $14.00 - $20.00 per hour or more depending on business levels and your upselling skills. As a Server, you will create memorable guest experiences by making great food and beverage recommendations and serving delicious items. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment. Servers are responsible for serving, bussing and cashing out all orders in a specified section in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner. Shifts may include weekdays or weekends starting at 7am. The Water's Edge closes daily at 2pm and reopens at 5pm - 8pm for dinner service. Hours change during summer months. Preferably, candidates will be 18 or older by start date and possess some hostess and/or serving experience in a fast paced, high volume restaurant. Willing to train the right candidate though! Must be able to carry trays when serving meals. Requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods. Weekends & holidays required.
