Dining Room Server /Coordinator- FT $16 - $18/hour
About The Position
This is a full-time position that includes a generous benefits package! Providence Place at the Collegeville Inn is seeking to recruit a compassionate, customer service driven individual to enhance our residents' dining experience. The Dining Room Server (Coordinator) is responsible for ensuring that residents have a positive experience during mealtimes. This includes ensuring an organized process for meal service; communicating dining room needs to the Director of Dining Services; and ensuring that the dining room is clean and set for lunch and dinner meals. Must be willing to cover dishwasher/ prep cook shifts as needed.
Requirements
- Superb customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must work well as a team and be capable of leading a team of coworkers in the dining room
- Knowledge of food handling, dining room, and/or hospitality procedures
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in dining or restaurant service
- Successful candidate will be service oriented, demonstrate a positive attitude, and have a neat, professional appearance.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Completion of sanitation course (ServSafe) must be completed within 3 months of hire.
