About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009 with the mission to 'honor God by serving others with love and compassion.' We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living services, memory care, and skilled nursing services. (Note: Because Meadowbrook is a licensed retirement community, employees may not accept tips, but residents are able to contribute to an appreciation fund that is distributed as an employee bonus.)

Requirements

• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and cheerful service to residents and their guests.
• Deliver and serve food for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with residents and co-workers.
• Address conflicts and complaints effectively.
• Communicate clearly and patiently with residents who may have hearing difficulties.
• Follow company procedures for safely and accurately performing tasks such as taking orders, completing prep work, carrying food, restocking, and cleaning.
