As part of the Edgehill dining team, your role will be to oversee the operations of the dining rooms, including the supervision and assistance of dining services Team Members. You will maintain a customer focused attitude at all times, while managing traffic flow and balancing the serving responsibilities among the food servers. Responsibilities Maintains visibility during meal times by seating and greeting residents, address any concerns, and ensures that their needs have been met. Responds to and resolves any resident or guest complaints regarding their experience in the dining room. Assists with schedules and assigns tasks to wait staff, including assigning of tables and side and closing duties. Directs and monitors wait staff, including, uniform and personal appearance, customer service, and proper food handling techniques.Trains wait staff on all operating procedures and menu education. Ensures floor charts and tables are set up correctly. Assists in developing and implementing catering functions. Assists in daily review of timekeeping practices and payroll reports to ensure all hours worked are recorded and appropriately paid. Maintains assigned dining room with adequate supplies and inventory for the table top service and service requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous dining room and server experience.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with residents and staff
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel and/or high-end hospitality experience a plus
