About The Position
A Dining Room Host or Hostess serves guests in the dining areas of the restaurant. Their primary goal is to provide 2nd Mile Service, which includes clearing tables , refreshing beverages, attending to the needs of guests, and keeping the facilities in top-notch condition. Practice 2nd Mile Service Requirements and implement strategies for better serving guests. Learn where all cleaning supplies are kept in the Dining Room. Learn how they are each used. Recognize appropriate and inappropriate ways to use chemical cleaners. Grow familiar with the FIFO stocking method and apply it to all stocking in the Dining Room. Hold yourself accountable for the cleanliness of the Dining Room, including tables and chairs, restrooms, condiment counters, windows, and the play area. Adopt a mindset of success.
