About The Position

• Support a family-style dining program serving 230+ students daily • Create a warm, welcoming dining room environment for students, faculty, and guests • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service throughout meal periods • Serve as a key liaison between the front of house and back of house teams • Communicate menu items, student needs, and service flow clearly to kitchen staff • Help manage meal pacing to ensure smooth, efficient service • Assist with dining room setup and breakdown before and after meals • Monitor cleanliness and organization of the dining room during service • Support seating flow and help direct students as needed • Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally • Work collaboratively with culinary and service teams to support daily operations • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and school dining standards • Contribute to a positive, community-focused dining experience for all guests Schedule and hours may vary, as we are open 7 days a week. Requirements

  • Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred.
  • Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
  • Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner and provide service with a smile!

  • Maintain the customer service areas to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
  • Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes.
  • Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
