About The Position

The FOX Studio Lot is looking for a Dining Room Busser to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The Dining Room Busser will be responsible for assigned side work duties for the Commissary Dining Room and Commissary Cafeteria.

Requirements

Previous relevant experience as a busser, server, or server assistant in a formal dining room
Strong customer service background
Strong knowledge of table service etiquette, including how to clear, reset, and assist without interrupting guest conversations
Excellent attention to detail and awareness of guest needs
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and support servers and management
Good communication skills
Professional appearance, hygiene, and grooming (adheres to uniform standards)
Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment
Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (e.g., trays, stacks of plates, glass racks, water jugs)
Able to stand for periods of up to 4 hours and able to bend and stoop on occasion

Responsibilities

Communicates with and assists managers and food servers to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction
Maintains cleanliness and restocks/ organizes the front of the house area
Prepares beverages required for lunch service
Serves water, beverages, bread, butter/ dip, and crudité to guests and provides refills as needed
Removes dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses
Clears and cleans tables after guests leave and resets vacated tables
Returns dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to the dishwashing area
Assists servers in serving hot beverages
Moves/lifts chairs and tables as needed
Other duties as assigned
