About The Position

Established in 1928, the West Shore Country Club was envisioned as a place where friends could gather for social and recreational activities. Over the years, as membership grew, our original vision has remained true. Located on 164 rolling acres in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania, our club offers the finest in golf, tennis, swimming, dining and social activities for your leisure times. Our variety of banquet settings can accommodate parties from a small business meeting to a grand wedding celebration. Our beautiful clubhouse and impeccably groomed grounds add to the aura of quiet sophistication that is the West Shore Country Club. We are currently seeking a part time Busser to join our team. Our staff strives to bring our members an enjoyable and exceptional experience while dining at our establishment. The Busser reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager.

Requirements

• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Must be able to stand / walk for duration of shift
• Must possess strong verbal communication skills
• Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail and desire to maintain a clean environment
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assisting with set-up, service, and clean-up tasks
• Preparing vegetable, cheese, and cracker plates
• Preparing silverware rollups, folds napkins, and bread basket folds
• Serving water to guests as they are being seated
• Assisting in carrying food trays to tables
• Removing soiled dishes and linen from tables and bringing them to appropriate cleaning areas
• Keeping ice bins and buckets full and keeping condiment stations stocked for servers
• Setting tables with clean silverware, glassware, and other table items
• Continuously overseeing the dining facilities to ensure all areas are clean and orderly
• Performing other related duties as assigned
