About The Position
TOPPER’S at The Wauwinet is currently seeking a seasonal Dining Room Attendant for the 2026 season. This important support role assists our service team in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences while ensuring the dining room remains pristine, organized, and guest-ready at all times. TOPPER’S offers both à la carte and prix fixe menus featuring seasonally inspired cuisine, with an emphasis on locally sourced produce and fresh seafood—creating an unforgettable dining experience in an iconic Nantucket setting Dining Room Attendants play a key part in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that TOPPER’S is known for. Hourly Rate: $6.75/hour + tips
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar fine dining environment is required.
Responsibilities
- Supporting servers with quality food and beverage service throughout each meal period
- Maintaining complete knowledge of table, seat, and station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, and proper table setups
- Staying informed on menu items, nightly specials, and “86” items
- Serving water, bread and butter, coffee/tea, and other items as needed
- Communicating closely with the host team for direction in cleaning and resetting tables
- Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly after guest departure
- Ensuring service areas remain clean, stocked, and organized
