About The Position

Dining Room Aide The Adrian Dominican Sisters are seeking part time and full time Dining Room Aides or Dietary Aides to assist with the buffet and service style dining halls. Our Motherhouse in Adrian is home to 300 retired Sisters and has buffet style dining areas where you will provide dining services to Sisters. Hours : Part time: 15-20 hours a week , evening shifts, some holidays and weekends as assigned. OFF no later than 7pm! Shift is 4pm - 7pm. Pay : 15.70/hr. Why choose us ? What you will be doing: You will perform Dining Room Aide , Dietary Aide , food service and dining service assistance to properly organize the serving counters , stock and replenish buffet counters, promote easy access to food items, dishes and utensils while presenting a welcoming environment by greeting and providing hospitality . You will work as a team to clean dining rooms before, during and after meals.

Requirements

Must pass background check, physical and drug screen
Basic knowledge of food service
Must be able to frequently bend, reach and carry approximately 35 pounds
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk about up to 8-hours per day
Must be sighted and capable of hearing
Must undergo background check and drug screen
Mandatory yearly (employer paid) flu vaccine and TB test
