About The Position

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for the position of Dining Facilities Manager – P02616 with the Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI). We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community. This position performs supervisory work planning and directing the food service operation of a specific unit of the College. Work includes direct responsibility for menu planning; staff scheduling; and for purchasing, storing, preparing, and serving food on a daily basis. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Eight (8) years of industry and culinary management experience including profit and loss accountability; or progressive, responsible food service experience can substitute for the required degree; or a combination of education and/or experience.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience required which can run concurrent with other required experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Institution Management, Food and Nutrition, or culinary degree from an institution accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges is preferred and may substitute for two (2) to four (4) years of the required degree.
