About The Position

Our Riverbend team leads a members-only club offering golf, dining, lodging and spa benefits in a 16th-century English Tudor-style mansion overlooking the Sheboygan River. Servers ensure that all guests are served to the standard in the Restaurant / Bar / Banquet areas. Takes orders for, serves (where applicable, prepares) food and beverages to guests as per the standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply
• Previous experience as a server, preferred
• The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
• Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell.
• Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.
• Process payment transactions.
• Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Server food and beverage per the course of order.
• Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
• Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed).
• Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
• Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating guests
