About The Position

The Diner Host Person is responsible for welcoming and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner. This role involves rotating guest seating in a fair and consistent manner from station to station. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills while working in a busy restaurant atmosphere.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• S. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card.

Responsibilities

• Determine guest's needs and seat them accordingly, while maintaining seating rotation requirements.
• Monitor restaurant table availability; arrange tables and chairs as necessary.
• Assist wait staff and bus persons in their duties (refill drinks, help pre-bus, attend to guest's needs) as necessary, or required.
• Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
