About The Position

Novant Health is seeking a Dimensions/Epic Application Analyst Lead to join our Information Technology Services team. This role is critical in designing and managing secure, efficient information systems that align with organizational architecture and meet user needs. As a Lead Analyst , you will: Work on complex, high-impact projects and lead teams to successful delivery. Design highly optimized systems and processes leveraging deep technical expertise. Coach, train, and mentor team members to foster growth and excellence. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum of four yrs relevant experience, required.
  • Application System Certification. Pass all cert. with passing grade within three tries for each test or project, required
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues
  • Proficient with workflows, application product function, design and build expertise.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Thinks strategically to help define the answers to the changes within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates strong professional interpersonal skills in dealing with others.
  • Strong analytical skills for new functions, problem resolution and support of the application product.
  • Proficient in ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control.
  • Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Possession of EPIC Willow Inpatient, EPIC Willow Ambulatory; Epic Willow Inventory; and Compass Rose certifications strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with Dimensions and Epic applications
  • Strong background in information systems design and security principles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage information systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with security principles such as least privilege and least functionality
  • Understand and safeguard sensitive data stored, transmitted, or processed within systems
  • Identify and respond to potential information security incidents
  • Design solutions consistent with the organization's information systems architecture
  • Lead projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure optimal system performance
