About The Position

As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct dimensional inspection of machined parts for aerospace and commercial customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and/or follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to communicate in English through voice, American Sign Language, or adaptive technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough understanding of aerospace and commercial drawings, parts lists and associated documents
  • Familiarity with aerospace requirements for assembly components and assembly procedures
  • Familiarity with Boeing Aerospace Company specifications
  • Use of aerospace dimensional inspection, measuring equipment
  • Basic familiarity with Windows based PCs and related applications, especially MS Office
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Responsibilities

  • Assure machined/assembled/formed parts meet the drawing, document, and customer requirements.
  • Dimensional inspection of assemblies and components, including aircraft hardware standards.
  • Perform first part and in process inspections at the shop floor level
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of Skills' Quality system and related procedures.
  • Has a working knowledge of non-conforming materials and procedures.
