About The Position

The position involves maintaining tracking records and filing systems, archiving files, and identifying records via electronic and hardcopy resources. The candidate will be responsible for preparing document pages for scanning, which includes removing bindings such as staples, rubber bands, and paperclips. The role requires operating a paper cutter when necessary and inserting bar-coded separator and tracking sheets into batches of records for digitization. Quality control reviews will be performed by comparing digitized document images with original source material to ensure accuracy. The candidate will also maintain and update databases or spreadsheets, record pertinent data describing archived files, and perform document/folder metadata entry in electronic databases. The position may require standing for long periods and participating in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related administrative experience.
  • Associates Degree in a related business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
  • Knowledge of proper English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  • Ability to physically lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.

  • Participate in special projects as required.
