The Digital Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the technology ecosystem that enables employees to work efficiently, securely, and collaboratively across devices and locations. This role focuses on enhancing the end-user experience by integrating modern workplace tools, automating support workflows, and ensuring seamless access to digital resources. End-User Experience Optimization Design and maintain digital workplace solutions including endpoint management, collaboration tools, and self-service portals. Monitor and improve device performance, application accessibility, and user satisfaction. Technology Integration & Automation Implement automation for routine support tasks, onboarding/offboarding, and device provisioning. Integrate systems such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other SaaS platforms into daily workflows. Implement, design and update configurations for Intune, Federation Services and EntraID. Support & Troubleshooting Serve as primary contact for complex technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual environments. Collaborate with Help Desk and Infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and improve support processes. Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical individuals in a clear and concise manner. Ability to follow ITSM processes. Security & Compliance Ensure endpoint security, patch management, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Partner with cybersecurity teams to enforce device encryption, MFA, and secure access protocols. Project & Change Management Lead or support digital workplace initiatives such as hardware refreshes, software rollouts, and remote work enablement. Document procedures, create training materials, and support change adoption across departments. Identify and recommend improvements to hardware, workflows, and software to enhance the digital workplace experience.
