About The Position

The Digital Video Intern is responsible for creating finished video and audio components for Conner Prairie's Learning Portal. In this role, the intern will be a part of writing, producing, filming, and editing their own videos from start to finish. The intern will also support existing video and audio projects, including Conner Prairie's virtual tour, ongoing documentaries, live streams, and other videos related to festivals and events.

Requirements

• College student with an interest in videography, digital filmmaking, video editing, and education.
• Basic knowledge of editing with a non-linear editor (Adobe Premiere).
• Willingness to be flexible and problem-solve.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Digital Experiences in filming of interviews and b-roll to develop storytelling abilities and learn the filmmaking process.
• Execute independent video edits.
• Coordinate and problem-solve new video content that aligns with Conner Prairie's Mission and educational philosophy.
• Carry through video projects to publication on the Conner Prairie Learning Portal.
• Support other Digital Experience and Marketing projects as assigned.
