About The Position

Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah and exists to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Using Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God’s Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point’s various media channels. To accomplish this mission, more than two hundred staff across various disciplines are committed to sharing the Gospel and Bible Strong teaching through Turning Point. Position Summary: The Digital Video Editor reports directly to the Senior Producer, Digital, and works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing. This position focuses on editing, optimizing, and publishing existing content for maximum effectiveness across digital platforms, including, but not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Requirements

  • One to three years of video production experience required.
  • Has a foundational knowledge of the production process and technical equipment.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (Resolve, Adobe CC, Avid, etc.).
  • Proficiency with graphic design software (Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Fusion, etc.)
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
  • Basic knowledge of the Google Ads platform.
  • Must be an organized, detail-oriented, and highly productive person.
  • Must be an independent self-starter that produces high-quality content on a deadline.
  • Able to receive constructive criticism and direction from producers, directors, and project leads.
  • Must be willing and able to lift/push/pull equipment weighing 50 lbs.
  • Must be a like-minded believer and share our passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world

Responsibilities

  • Adapt existing video content to maximize effective and achieve desired outcomes
  • Clip long-form content into shorter videos for on Social Media
  • Adapt video content for publication in 9x16 (portrait video)
  • Report on Social Video reach and effectiveness including progress toward KPI targets
  • Manage and continually optimize existing YouTube content library
  • Version and adapt video ads for use on other advertising platforms (like CTV)
  • Design high-quality YouTube thumbnails
  • Work with outside vendors to continually stay up to date on best practices and strategies
  • Take direction from the Digital Marketing Manager to launch paid YouTube video campaigns
