About the position

The Digital Transformation Program Manager will lead initiatives focused on customer service, asset management, and energy infrastructure transformation within the utilities sector. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful execution, and utilizing specific technical tools and platforms to drive program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate activities for the AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) Ecosystem Program.
  • Work with internal teams and vendor partners such as PwC, Deloitte, Oracle (CC&B), IBM (Maximo), and ESRI (ArcGIS).
  • Ensure synchronization across all projects, resolve obstacles, and manage dependencies to meet key milestones.
  • Provide risk, action, and progress reporting to leadership.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, ensuring scope alignment and proper execution of deliverables.
  • Develop and enforce a centralized Program RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed).
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and provide updates on milestones and risks.
  • Utilize project management tools to optimize resources, reduce costs, and ensure program goals are met.
  • Coordinate cross-project dependencies, using tools such as project scheduling software to allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Transition Manager to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Integrate change management strategies into the program plan, track user adoption, and adjust as necessary.
  • Provide regular status updates to sponsors and stakeholders, utilizing project tracking and reporting tools.
  • Monitor program performance, financials, and progress toward benefit realization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • +8 years of program management experience, preferably in IT.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Familiarity with key technologies such as Oracle CC&B, IBM Maximo, ESRI ArcGIS, and MuleSoft.
  • Current PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in the utility industry or AMI program management is highly preferred.
