This position is part of the finance/accounting department team at Daktronics. The finance/accounting team serves Daktronics stakeholders – employees, customers, vendors, shareholders, and community. Our work is focused on enabling Daktronics’ success by being trusted advisors, guiding, or supporting company compliance and risk management efforts, being operationally excellent, and developing ourselves and the team. Daktronics is on a strategic Digital Transformation Journey. As we imbed more digital solutions into our operations, we believe our progress will be accelerated by a leader who understands how to leverage technology to transform our processes and enable opportunities for new solutions delivered in new ways to new customers, as well as how to ensure our online business practices are transacted in ways that fulfill accounting requirements and provide effective management information. We are looking for a Digital Transformation Financial Systems Manager to help us grow our digital capabilities and capacity. You will collaborate with other leaders and experts to identify and execute strategic digital initiatives, especially in finance-related areas, with a heavy focus on projects. You will also help us improve our processes, systems, and practices to enhance our customer and employee experience and increase our competitiveness and profitability. As a Digital Transformation Financial Systems Manager, you will: Envision. Lead development of a compelling longer-term vision and roadmaps for technology use. Including automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to support a world class digital finance organization. Influence. Positively influences senior finance, Data, and IT stakeholders toward commitment to a shared vision. In collaboration with other stakeholders, guide progress by engaging teams through annual and quarterly milestones and projects. Provide helpful and transparent updates on results that enable learning and adapting. Openly communicate to build alignment, trust, and velocity. Lead. Lead team efforts to modernize processes, strengthen data quality, integrate systems, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions that unlock efficiency and insight. Intentionally grow and develop team members’ capabilities by guiding teams through change, helping employees adopt digital and AI tools confidently. Identify opportunities to digitize high value work and eliminate low value manual effort. Partner. Collaborate closely with IT, Data, and business stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies, steer enterprise digital initiatives, and rapidly deliver solutions that enhance Finance and Accounting processes including AI supported forecasting, workflow automation, and intelligent reporting tools. Where is this opportunity located? Position has opportunity to work from a U.S. based home office. This position is open to candidates eligible to work in the U.S. What are the pay and perks? The typical hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000 annually based on the location of the candidate. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or information technology.
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant experience and history of leading or delivering on finance digital transformation or organizational transformations.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and deploying AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions within Finance or related business functions.
  • Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled use cases and communicate value to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools, process automation platforms, and finance analytics technologies.
  • A strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, internal controls, processes, systems, and data.
  • Empowered self-starter comfortable taking lead on initiatives with an ability to effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended actions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, problem solving, project management, and change management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including familiarity with Excel.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
