About The Position

Craig Technologies has an opening for a Biomedical Engineer at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a significant role to help the NASA Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science Division to upgrade and maintain their digital tools and coordinate both physical space and organizational website changes. Under the direction of a lead, you will modify/tailor infrastructure digital tools, coordinate physical space moves, perform organization website maintenance and provide occasional support to equipment and IT equipment coordination for new and existing employees. WHAT YOU BRING : You bring experience in digital tools and/or SharePoint tools, physical space coordination and customer service. You use your experience to coordinate with the customer to identify needed changes to their tool suite, to coordinate changes with affected stakeholders, and to make those modifications to tools for use by all within the division. You bring excellent customer service skills and ability to adapt to changes in customer needs in order to help coordinate changes to the physical spaces to accommodate personnel and management needs. WHAT TO EXPECT: You will work onsite at Johnson Space Center within a large team of Engineering, Science and Integration personnel. Hybrid work is available for this position with minimum of 4 days in office each week. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a High School graduate with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in Information Technology/Information Architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sharepoint.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and multi-task assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience showing self-motivation and proactivity in communicating with others without a lot of hands on direction.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • U.S. Citizen
  • National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) with ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience developing and customizing solutions using SharePoint and/or Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), with familiarity in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for legacy tool migration.
  • Preferred experience working with Windchill, Cloud Computing and Adobe Tools (e.g., Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate).
  • Preferred experience in hardware and/or software purchase/procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Transition and configure legacy software/web tools into SharePoint environment and develop new solutions using collaboration platforms.
  • Build and manage websites, workflows and access using team collaboration tools such as SharePoint and other platforms (e.g., Windchill, Confluence Wiki as applicable), including scripting as required.
  • Facilitate/coordinate location changes for personnel, furniture and IT equipment, process associated paperwork and perform pre and post walk-throughs.
  • Occasionally coordinate purchase of selected IT hardware and software.
  • Coordinate/facilitate new construction and/or purchase of IT and/or teleconferencing equipment to support space moves and teleconference room modifications.
  • Participate in team meetings, status work progress and provide inputs for team success.
